Biking (Beach, Road, or Mountain Biking)

Whether you're looking for a leisure cruise around town or you want the adrenaline and scenery from road or mountain biking, Seabrook's main mode of transportation has always been the bicycle.

Hop on the bikes that come with your vacation rental home (some homes have them), bring your own ones, or rent some from Buck's Bikes and hit the streets and trails for a joy ride that is sure to have you grinning from ear to ear!

Mountain Biking

Mountain Biking

Beach cruisers may own the streets of Seabrook, but it`s the mountain biking trails all around us that truly make Seabrook a biking mecca.

What began as an 8-mile loop in Seabrook`s backyard is slowly growing into a web of diverse forest trails, offering thrilling mountain biking for all levels and ages.

With the help of Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, Seabrook has expanded its mountain biking trails to include long loops through single tracks and logging roads, as well as a new trail overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Not only has this made the central Washington coast one of the most spectacular mountain biking destination in the Pacific Northwest, but there is no end in sight to the growth of mountain biking trails and popularity in our area.

Below is the most current map of available mountain bike trails in our area. For a printed version of the map, please stop by the Seabrook Cottage Rentals office in town to pick up a map before your ride.

Have you tried riding a bike on the beach? It`s not as easy as it looks, especially with skinnier tires on your bike or beach cruiser. Thankfully, Seabrook abounds with fat tire bikes - specially engineered for fun riding on the beach and in the surf. You can rent one at Buck`s Bikes and hit the beach without worrying about getting stuck in the sand or going a few feet into the ocean (just don`t push it, unless you have a snorkel on your bike. Wait, does that even exist?)
