The words “Once upon a time…” take us to places of romance and adventure. At our home, Once Upon a Time, you, your family and friends will find a place to relax and renew, to explore and enjoy. Unwind in the sunshine on the wrap-around porch (facing south and west) as you watch your children play on the adjacent lawn. Or step across the street for a game of horseshoes or bocce balls in Crescent Park. Slip into the most private hot tub at Seabrook, nestled into the wooded back yard, and enjoy the background sound of the surf. The woods just steps beyond beckon the young at heart for exploration.
From the fancifully colored dining room to the Scandinavian inspired wall beds on the third floor, Once Upon a Time is a home you will remember. The bright rugs of Susan Sargent and the whimsical art of Alaskan artist Rie Munoz bring a lighthearted mood to our home. The living room, dining room and kitchen flow well together. Whether you are preparing a meal at the 6-burner stove in the gourmet kitchen or lounging in front of the fireplace watching the game or DVD on the big-screen TV, no one feels left out of the action. An extensive library offers a book for everyone. The second floor provides all you would expect; a spacious master (Kg) suite with soaking tub, a 2nd bedroom (Kg), a 3rd (Qn), and bath. All beds on this level are memory foam, providing you a deep comfortable sleep. If you're drawn to homes with a carriage house, look no further than the 3rd floor of Once Upon a Time. Children of all ages will be captivated by the enchanting third floor retreat, whether snuggling into one of the 4 built-in extra-long single wall beds or playing a game in the cozy nook overlooking Seabrook. Also included in the entertainment area is a 36” TV and DVD, a Nintendo Wii with games, a queen size feather-top sofabed and a ¾ bath. There are even folding chairs and tables stored under the wall bunks for crafters’ projects. Once Upon a Time is a place to reconnect with family and friends.
