Description

Everyone needs a little adventure, an escape from everyday life, a chance to add another tale to their life story. In naming our cottage, we chose to recall one of our own favorite stories, BIG FISH, for its celebration of the idea that “life is what you make it”. It seemed a perfect fit because we also love to fish, and our last name just happens to be Fischer. Because this is truly our home away from home, we’ve gone to great lengths to make every detail in the house speak to quality and to ease.

Upon our first visit we were immediately drawn to the Seabrook Community for its quaint neighborhoods, it’s quality architecture and most importantly, because it is perfectly situated to take advantage of all the Olympic Peninsula has to offer. Venture out to explore the trails of the Olympic National Park, have a relaxing meal at the Lake Quinault Lodge, hunt for sand dollars on the beach or go fly fishing on a nearby river. Stay closer in and take a bike ride around Seabrook’s many colorful, unique neighborhoods, pick up a game of badminton or croquet in the central lawn, take a pottery painting class. And of course, there are those stunning beaches, perfect for a stroll, collecting seashells, running with the dogs, or some good old northwest clam digging.

Whatever your preference, our Big Fish cottage is waiting to provide you with every comfort. After a day of activities, you’ll appreciate the Jacuzzi tub, big enough for the entire household. Have a cozy dinner at Seabrook’s Mill 109 or cook your own in our fully stocked gourmet kitchen. After dinner, get everyone together for a classic board game, watch a movie on the 42” flat screen TV, or curl up in front of the fireplace with a good book.

And when it`s time to turn in, you’re in for another treat. The finest quality pillow top mattresses will guarantee a good night’s sleep. The master bedroom surrounds you with luxury, from the silk carpet to the boutique hotel linens on the queen size bed, and the kids will enjoy the bunk over the full bed in the second bedroom.

Travelling with your four legged family members? You’ll find food bowls, beach toys, a comfy pillow bed and even some treats to ensure everyone’s needs are met.

There’s nothing we enjoy more than coming here for a grand adventure with our dogs, to hang out with friends, or simply to get away from it all. We hope you find your experience just as enjoyable. Welcome to BIG FISH!

We loved out stay in Seabrook and plan on visiting again. We enjoyed biking the Narnia trail, painting pottery, fishing on the beach (caught a surf perch), the play ground and walking the trails. On our last night we ordered take out pizza from Frontagers and had a fire pit on the beach......great way to end a great weekend.

Really enjoyed our stay. This is a special place and we are so grateful for the memories that we now share with our children. The hot tub was great-nice way to warm up after being out in the cool, rainy weather all day. Thank you for all of the amenities "Big Fish" has to offer. We rented a couple of bikes from Buck's Bikes and rode around the neighborhood with our children, built a fire across the street, and even woke up early to dig up clams! They were excellent. We look forward to coming back again-maybe in warmer months, when there is more going on "in town".

We had a wonderful time exploring the beach and relaxing in your beautiful home. Especially enjoyed the hot tub! Also loved the dog belts, bowls and toys for our pup to play. Thanks for thinking of these things. We'll definitely be back!

Very relaxing - I always have a wonderful time and feel safe at Seabrook. We used to stay at nearby places and the level of cleanliness and service was seriously lacking. Since discovering Seabrook we wont stay anywhere else when it comes to an ocean getaway. We love choosing from the different homes, and have tried new places each visit. Each home has its own unique charm. We also love the wine shop, and the Mill 109- looking forward to trying the coffee shop and bakery as well

We had a wonderful time cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, walking to the beach on the woods trail, soaking in the hot tub, and enjoying a couple of meals at Mill 109. Creamy clam chowder and cold beer makes a great happy hour snack. December is a great time to visit if you want space. For two of our nights we were the only ones on the street! We went to the beach each day during sunbreaks and when it was rainy we stayed cozy in the house. By the end of our stay, we felt seriously refreshed. We hope to return to Seabrook many times!

Everyone was very helpful. The woman I spoke to on the phone that helped me book it was so patient with me. We spent a good 20 minutes going over different properties. Since I was traveling on my own with three kids, I had some pretty specific needs and questions. She was very helpful--we loved staying at Big Fish!

We truly had a great week. We spent most of our time at the new indoor pool. What a great facility. The pool is big, clean, and warm. The hot-tub is also very large and a welcomed treat after pacific northwest beach weather. The sun did come out for an hour or so and we quickly popped into the market for some ice creams and headed to the beach!

You guys are terrific! Really fabulous! Loved seeing staff scooting around the community in their golf carts taking care of business - it's like a coastal Disneyland in terms of the cleanliness and happy staff.
