Capeside Cottage is the perfect beach cottage retreat for you and your family (and guests). That includes your pet, as we welcome a (smaller-sized) dog.
In the summer of 2017, we renamed this cottage, formerly named ‘Hooked on a Feeling’, in connection with a significant remodel. The open main floor plan, light and airy furniture and décor, upstairs family entertainment room and bunk room all contribute to create a classic beach cottage atmosphere. A taste of Cape Cod right here on our beautiful Washington coast.
One of the highlights of Capeside Cottage is its location within Seabrook. Just across the street is Seabrook’s Crescent indoor pool. Immediately behind the cottage is Lily Walk Park, with fire pits ready-made for gathering around a warm fire and making s’mores. Capeside Cottage is centrally located within Seabrook, within a brief walk to sport courts in one direction, and a picturesque trail to the beach in the other direction. The cottage is outside of the hustle and bustle of Seabrook’s new downtown area, allowing for peace and quiet (and minimal traffic), but Seabrook’s amenities are just a short walk away.
Inside the front door, you will find a spacious light filled living room, kitchen and dining area. The living room seats six people comfortably between the couch, loveseat, and chair and has TV/Cable and an Xbox ready to go. The fully equipped kitchen features plentiful counter space and all the amenities you need to prepare a meal should you choose to eat in. The new, large dining table will seat six guests comfortably and is great for late-night board or card games. Bar stools at the counter seat two more.
The ground floor also hosts a master bedroom with a king size bed, and an adjacent full bathroom. A convenient mudroom through the back door provides a place to drop those beach clothes, which can be washed with the full capacity front loading washer and dryer.
Wander upstairs to find a relaxing family entertainment room with a large screen TV, Wii video game system, and an assortment of DVDs and games. The upstairs also hosts a second bathroom and two additional bedrooms. The bunk room two sets of built-in bunks (sleeping four), while the other bedroom includes a full-size bed.
Our goal is that you not only enjoy your stay at Capeside Cottage, but that you want to come back. Our own family is making lasting memories here, and we hope you do as well.

Capeside Cottage is centrally located in the Lily Walk neighborhood of Seabrook. Across the street from the Crescent Indoor Pool, adjacent to the Lily Walk Park, and a short walk away from Seabrook’s growing downtown, sport courts, and the trail to the beach.
Capeside Cottage was a perfect place for our weekend. It slept 7 people easily--the beds were comfortable--the decor was upbeat and fun. Both the living room and upstairs offered comfortable places to hang out and visit. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed to do some cooking/baking. The house was exceptionally clean and the only drawback was the ice machine wasn't working in the fridge/freezer. The beach is about a 10 minute walk from the house and we were lucky enough to have two sunny days in a row in October. Perfect weekend!

We love your house! Having a delightful spring break week here:). It's our second trip to Seabrook and yours is our favorite house, so far! Super comfy beds & adorable decor. I was so charmed by your mantle decorations I captured them in crayon (the only media available;). We hope to be back!

We loved Hooked On A Feeling. We stayed here with my family of 4 and our two friends. We love the name. It has us singing the whole time.
We especially loved the beachy, retro vibe. The bunk room was fun and we loved the separate TV. All in all, this house made Seabrook everything we expected and more. We loved the house.

Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. It's is delightful to get waves and smiles from all of the members driving around in the Seabrook vans and trucks, too!
Hooked on a Feeling was great. It was the perfect size for the four adults and two children. For this trip the most important amenity was a master bedroom on the main floor to accommodate my in laws. We booked the house about four weeks before our trip and there were a couple of options available that met our needs. Hooked on a Feeling was a great house for us!

My husband & our 4 kids & I very much enjoyed our stay here at your fun & super cozy home. My favorite thing about the home is the pretty vintage daisy chandelier.
My to oldest loved playing with legs & my two youngest with all the fun Melissa & Doug wooden toys. The Nesspreso machine was such a treat, as was the fireplace. We had sunshine two days in a row & enjoyed multiple trips to the beach as well as the pool.
Thank you. Never to be forgotten memories were made. Leaving here with full hearts.

The fellow who checked us in was very friendly to my young boys, joking with them about their superhero identities. Made their day!
"Remember When" was wonderful, and the kids enjoyed the playroom. We also had a great time in the pool.
